Chemical Inventories

Chemical inventories must be available to OSEH and emergency responders. Use standard format (download Excel chemical inventory template form). Post a copy just inside the lab hall door.

Chemical solutions may not be poured down drains - waste must be collected and disposed properly. For information on hazardous materials management, visit OSEH's website at http://www.oseh.umich.edu/hm1.html.

Discharged batteries may be placed in a white 5-gallon pail marked “Discharged batteries” in the “HazMat” cabinet on the loading dock.
